Run your workflows straight from Salesforce

Launch, track, and complete Manifestly workflows from any Salesforce record — Accounts, Contacts, Leads, and Opportunities — without leaving your CRM. Runs link back to the record, so status flows both ways.

Installed from the Salesforce App Launcher · works with any edition that supports AppExchange packages.

Your CRM knows when work should start. Let Manifestly run it.

A deal moves to Negotiation, a case is opened, a new account is created — each one kicks off a repeatable process. Connect Salesforce to Manifestly and the right workflow launches on the right record, with progress the whole team can see.

Without the integration
  • Someone remembers to start the process by hand
  • Status lives in a separate tool from the record
  • CRM and process drift out of sync
With Manifestly
  • A button or field change launches the run
  • Progress shows right on the record
  • Record ID links the two — updates flow both ways

Connected in four steps

1

Connect your account

Install the package from the App Launcher, open the Manifestly Setup tab, and paste your API token. A green icon confirms you're connected.

2

Add a launch button

Pick a record type, choose the workflow it should start, and name the button. Add the buttonsContainer component to the page layout and it appears on the record.

3

Launch & sync

Click the button and a run is created in Manifestly, with its external ID set to the Salesforce record ID — the link that lets updates flow back.

4

Automate the rest

Set field-change triggers to start runs on their own, and turn on webhooks so run activity posts back into Salesforce to drive your Flows.

A launch button on any record

Put a Start Workflow button on the objects your team works from. Clicking it creates a run and passes the record's title along, so the run is already labeled with the account, lead, or deal it belongs to.

  • Add the current user to the run by matching their email.

One record, one run, kept in step

When a run is created from a record, Manifestly stores the Salesforce record ID as the run's external ID. That shared key is what lets the two stay aligned — so a run started in Salesforce is the same run Manifestly can update back on the record.

  • Record data flows into the run at launch.
  • Run and step progress can post back to Salesforce.
  • The record ID prevents duplicate or mismatched runs.

Start runs automatically on a field change

No click required. Set a trigger to watch a field, and when it changes to the value you choose, Manifestly starts the workflow on that record — so the process fires the moment the CRM says it should.

  • Watch any field on the supported objects.
  • Fire on an exact value — a stage, a status, a type.
  • Assign participants just like a button-launched run.

See the run history on the record

Every run launched from a record is logged in its Notes & Attachments, so anyone opening the account or opportunity can see which processes ran, and when — without leaving Salesforce.

  • A running record of what was started from each object.
  • Standard-object tabs surface buttons and history in one place.

Push run activity back into Salesforce

Turn on webhooks and Manifestly writes run and step activity into your org as records — ready to trigger Flows, update fields, or advance a stage. Set it up once with a Salesforce Site and its Guest User, granted the Manifestly Webhook Permission.

  • Creates Run and WorkflowStep records in Salesforce.
  • Use those records to drive Flows and downstream automations.
  • Schedule the ClearOldDataBatch job to clear records older than a month.

Processes teams run from Salesforce

Deal to onboarding

An Opportunity hits Closed Won and kicks off customer onboarding.

Stage change → the onboarding run starts on the account automatically.

Case handling

A support Case opens and a standardized resolution workflow launches.

Progress shows on the record so the whole team sees where it stands.

Lead qualification

A new Lead triggers a consistent qualification and follow-up run.

Nothing slips — every lead gets the same steps, tracked back on the record.

Salesforce integration, answered

Any edition that supports installing AppExchange managed packages — typically Enterprise, Unlimited, and Performance. You install Manifestly from the App Launcher after adding the package.

Yes. Install the package and test launch buttons, triggers, and run history end-to-end against a sandbox or production org during your Manifestly free trial.

Accounts, Contacts, Leads, and Opportunities. Add a launch button to any of them, or set a field-change trigger to start a run without a click.

Yes. The record's data feeds the run at launch, and the run's external ID is set to the Salesforce record ID. With webhooks enabled, Manifestly posts run and step activity back into Salesforce as Run and WorkflowStep records that can drive your Flows.

Create a Salesforce Site, grant its Guest User the Manifestly Webhook Permission via a permission set, activate the site, and point Manifestly at the site's apex REST endpoint. Optionally schedule the ClearOldDataBatch job to remove synced records older than a month.

Only people who launch or work in runs need a Manifestly seat. You can see the pricing details on the pricing page.
